Your November Budget Guide
by Amy Greene |
Phew! October flew by, didn’t it?
We’re already at November!
I don’t know about you, but time needs to slow down a bit so I can catch my breath. Can I get an Amen?
Now that it’s nearly November, it’s time to get that November budget done!
By planning the month ahead, we get to tell every dollar where to go – instead of wondering at the end of the month were it went!
As you. make the final edits on your November budget, make sure you include the following if it applies to you:
Now that it’s nearly November, it’s time to get that November budget done!
By planning the month ahead, we get to tell every dollar where to go – instead of wondering at the end of the month were it went!
As you. make the final edits on your November budget, make sure you include the following if it applies to you:
- Thanksgiving – Turkeys, stuffing, and all the fixings!
- Black Friday / Cyber Monday – Plan ahead if there are a few things you’re looking for, or if you need to stay away. Create that boundary now so you’re not pulled into the emotions of a “deal.”
- Holiday Celebrations & Traditions – if any of yours cost money, let’s make sure these are included! So many things start happening for the Holidays in November.
- Holiday Travel – Include all the expenses associated, and any money you’re paying out for travel in December or for New Year’s.
- Christmas – The shopping season begins! Make your list and check it twice! (and if you need a plan or help in this area, see my P.S.)
- Generosity – ’tis the season for giving and living life with an open hand. Plan ahead in your budget what you’re able to do. And if you can’t give of your treasure, how can you give of your time or talent?
- Hurricane Season – if you’re affected, be prepared! Boarding windows, traveling out of the storm path, staying in a hotel or elsewhere, and the expenses associated, plus money to do any damage repair.
- Increased Utilities – baby it’s cold! – no, hot! – no, cold! outside! Regardless of where you are, your utilities may increase. Budget accordingly.
There you have it! If there’s anything you’re adding to your November budget that isn’t listed, please let me know by replying to this email. It helps me, and our community, be prepared!
Keep going and let’s finish 2023 financially strong!
XOXO,
Amy
